Percee P (b, John Percy Simon in 1971) is an underground hip-hop artist from the Patterson projects South Bronx in New York he is known in the underground for selling his mixtapes himself at shows and in Beats Dish and for his many guest appearances on other options and underground hip-hop artists release, he has worked with such rappers as Big Daddy Kane, Kool Keith, Lord Finesse Aesop Rock Edan Jurassic 5 C-Rayz Walz Jaylib Jedi Mind Tricks Maestro Fresh Wes Wild Child and many more Percee is something of a legend of the underground scene because of His omnipresence, yet complete determination to stay underground hardcore
His legendary battle with Lord Finesse in 1989 was immortalized on Edan Fast Rap mixtape and a complete video of it have cropped up sincep ABskyldighet feature on the SBX DVD
In 2005, the MTA Records released the legendary status of a compilation of material featuring guest spots and live performances from the past 15 years
